Daniel L. Blumen, CTP is a founding partner of Treasury Alliance where he leads consulting engagements dealing with working capital management and other global treasury issues. Prior to co-founding Treasury Alliance in 2002, he was Managing Director of Knowledge Management Applications, a firm he founded in 1998.
Dan was with Bank of America in Chicago and also in Singapore where he managed the ASEAN region of the Global Payment Services Group. He also worked for Citibank in Chicago and in London where he had pan-European management responsibility for cash management business development.
He has worked with large multinationals and emerging international companies and shares his experience as an author and as a frequent speaker at cash management gatherings worldwide.
Dan received his BA in economics, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University and his MSIA in finance from Carnegie-Mellon University. His invention for cleaning glass-lined reactors has been patented in Canada (#1199550). He is a certified treasury professional.
Susan A. Hillman is a founding partner of Treasury Alliance. Her work includes US domestic and international projects including individual country studies, global and regional projects, currency exposure analyses, working capital assessments, banking system and service reviews, and international treasury policy and procedure assignments. Prior to co-founding Treasury Alliance in 2002, she founded Global Cash Management Ltd. in 1981.
During her more than 20 years with Global Cash Management she directed treasury projects throughout the world, covering the US, Europe, Latin America, Canada, and Asia/Pacific for hundreds of multinationals and financial institutions.
Ms. Hillman is a frequent contributor to treasury and business publications. She serves on the Advisory Board of International Treasurer and is a speaker at various international treasury conferences. She has a B.A. from Barat College and a Masters degree from UCLA. Ms. Hillman holds a Private Pilot's license.
Ari Morris, CMA is a partner at Treasury Alliance leading consulting engagements dealing with treasury systems, corporate treasury structure and foreign exchange. Prior to joining Treasury Alliance Group LLC, Ari was the Head of Services and Strategic Relationships for Thomson Reuters’ global Corporate Treasury business. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Ari was a foreign currency and swaps dealer, first for JP Morgan Chase and later for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Ari has been instrumental in the rollout of some of the largest international treasury system implementations in many different industries.
He is an advisor in the Cornell-Queen’s Executive MBA program for the New Ventures course and a speaker at numerous national and international financial conferences such as AFP, New York Cash Exchange and the Dutch Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Ari received his BA in economics from the University of British Columbia and holds an MBA from Cornell University and Queen’s University.
Peter Pinfield provides clients with expert advice in the areas of strategic planning, operational research and project and change management. His deep knowledge of global treasury management comes from working with US multinationals as a banker designing solutions in the areas of global cash concentration, cash pooling, centralized payments processing, treasury outsourcing, and integration with ERP and Treasury Workstations.
Peter has held senior positions at Bank of America and Citibank in London, Frankfurt and San Francisco. While at Bank of America he served as Head of Productivity services, Europe. In this role, he directed a team responsible for re-engineering and centralizing the Bank's European Branch operations into a shared service center in addition to other senior roles.
He is an accomplished teacher and facilitator and shares his knowledge at global industry events. He is the author of numerous articles on cash and treasury management and contributed to the "International Cash Management Module" syllabus and text for the Association of Corporate Treasurer's examination course.
Peter gained his Bsc in economics from the London School of Economics and an HND from the West London School of Business Studies.
Don A. Resler, CCM has held various positions in marketing and consulting. He has performed and managed consulting projects of varying scope in North America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific. These projects have included diagnostic reviews, export reviews, and comprehensive reviews for clients in the food, service, manufacturing, and brokerage industries. Marketing assignments have included domestic US products and international information/treasury management products.
Before joining Treasury Alliance Group in 2005 Don was a founding Principal for Alan West Group formed in early 1997. Prior to that Don was Vice President at Bank of America in Chicago where he managed the Cash Management Consulting Group. He was formerly Executive Vice President-Education at the Bank Administration Institute (BAI). Don also managed the Chicago office of the First National Bank of Chicago's domestic cash management consulting group.
Don received his BA from Harvard College and his MBA from the University of Chicago. Mr. Resler is a certified cash manager, permanent designation.
Mark Webster, CPA, CCM has over 30 years of experience in all areas of payments and treasury and risk management. He has worked with domestic and international clients in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, retail, insurance and government.
The former head of the Treasury Management Consulting Practice at Coopers & Lybrand, Mark has led Bank Operations and Payments Consulting Practices as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Capco. He has significant financial services industry experience with both regional and money center banks in a variety of roles including: CIO, Treasury Services Product Manager, and head of Payments Operations and Check Processing.
He is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals, Board Member and Past President of the Northeast Ohio Treasury Management Association and serves on the Body of Knowledge Committee for the CTP certification. He is the past Chairman of the Affiliates Council of the National Automated Clearing House Association and was a voting member of the NACHA Rules and Operations Committee for many years. He has authored articles on the payments industry, risk management and operational transformation for a variety of publications; is a frequent speaker on both a local and national level; and has taught on the faculty of the Treasury Management Series at the Haas Business School at the University of California, Berkeley and the International Institute of Payments.
Mark is a Certified Cash Manager, a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Ohio, and a Certified Systems Professional and was a recipient of the Elijah Watts Sells award for national excellence when he sat for the CPA exam. He received his Masters of Business Administration with honors from Cleveland State University and attended Northwestern University for undergraduate study.
Henry Wong is a partner at Treasury Alliance where he leads consulting engagements dealing with technology, risk management and general treasury issues. Prior to joining Treasury Alliance in 2010 he worked as an independent treasury consultant serving clients in North America. Other roles include that of Senior Manager of Integration Services at Thomson Financial, Solutions Architect at HSBC, Product Manager at FINCAD and Innovation Consultant at WorkSafeBC.
Henry has more than 14 years of client-facing, full cycle software experience, from solution conception and prototyping through development planning to implementation and support. His experience emphasizes efficient TMS implementations, innovative treasury solutions, financial data modeling, and advanced reporting and he has shared this experience as a writer for leading international treasury publications.
Henry holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, along with technical certifications in SQL Server and Oracle. |
